Kassandra McDonald, referred to fondly as Kassie, grew up in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Kassie attended St. Mary Academy Bayview for girls in East Providence starting in high school where she developed her education and her love for the law and world wide travel.
Thereafter, Kassie started her college education in Burlington, Vermont earning a bachelor’s degree in Law. That is where she met her husband, got her first dog, and even spent a semester traveling Europe and furthering her education while working as an RA.
Next, Kassie and her husband moved to Raleigh, North Carolina where Kassie went to law school. During that time Kassie worked for indigent clients at the Gailor Family Law clinic, as well as worked in private practice under the supervision of multiple esteemed attorneys. Kassie was also accepted onto the trial team to compete in moot court where her and her peers succeeded in multiple rounds of plaintiff and defense trials. Tangentially, Kassie took courses like legal research and writing, trial advocacy, and alternative dispute resolution in order to glean a well-rounded legal education. Kassie and her colleagues were published in Campbell Law Review for their polished podcast on Civil access to legal representation.
After earning her Juris Doctorate in North Carolina, Kassie and her husband moved back to New England to be closer to family and to practice in the State of Rhode Island. Kassie began her practice of law in family court until transitioning into Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury.
Kassie is thrilled to use her knowledge of the law, experiential and real practice of the law to help the injured have their day in Court or settle peaceably to achieve a fresh start.
